Treasury Controller – GBS

Our Global Business Service team supports the stock-listed companies Odfjell Drilling and Odfjell Technology, as well as Odfjell Oceanwind. In total we engage in more than 50 companies across the world. We are now looking for a new colleague to strengthen our treasury team.

Job Description

As a Treasury Controller you will join the Treasury team at our offices in Bergen. The main tasks of this Centre of Expertise are related to cash management and reporting, liquidity forecasting, bank administration, payment procedures, as well as external and internal loan administration

In this exiting new position you will be central to the further development of the treasury function in GBS. You will be part of our dynamic organization and interact with colleagues across the world, as well as with other internal and external stakeholders. You will be a valued addition to our team, where we work closely together to deliver services with a high professional level, in a good social environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Contribute to loyalty and compliance with Financial Policies and processes within treasury
  • Participate in reporting of liquidity forecasts
  • Contribute to quality in monthly, quarterly and annual reporting processes
  • Participate in cash management processes, including managing currency exposure and loan agreements
  • High level user of Treasury software (Escali or other)
  • Participate in establishment and administration of bank accounts and internet banking, including KYC (‘Know Your Client’) reporting
  • Contribute to process and system improvement initiatives, challenge and support the organization towards continuous improvement

Required Qualifications:

  • Minimum 4 years of relevant experience within treasury 
  • Knowledge of payment processes and internet banking
  • Knowledge of processes for establishing bank accounts, domestic as well as international, experience preferred
  • Experience with foreign exchange contract is preferred
  • Experience with handling of loan agreements is preferred
  • Fluent in Norwegian and English, both oral and written
