Job Description

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS 

  • Relevant formal background, technical/mechanical education or long relevant experience
  • Min. 5 years relevant experience from rig/service operations
  • Preferably experience from a management position
  • Good written and oral English skills

DUTIES/TASKS

  • Manage the workshops in Romania; hereunder coordinate and organize the work
  • Follow up agreements/contracts with our local suppliers, hereunder; supplier evaluation, report costs, progress and deviation in projects anddaily operation
  • Maintain and develop good relations and good service for our customers and suppliers
  • Contribute with teamwork/experience transfer
  • Monitoring of Synergi reports
  • Other tasks assigned

KEYRESPONSIBILITIES

  • Deliver our products/ services within agreed time, price and quality
  • Ensure maintenance is planned and executed according to established processes and requirements
  • Ensure quality and efficiency of the maintenance performed
  • Develop services, facilities and housekeeping in the workshops
  • Participate in tender preparations
  • Prepare and follow the departments budgets
  • Follow up on incident reports, dangerous behavior, dangerous situations and non conformances

  • Delegate, motivate and communicate clearly in daily work
  • Aim for giving all employees challenging tasks related to their area of responsibility
  • Ensure competence-development for all employees according to competence-matrix and budget
  • Ensure that all activities are performed according to all relevant HSE requirements and procedures
  • Ensure that Odfjell Technology’s HSE-rules are followed within the area of responsibility
  • Build a culture for continuous improvement of safety and quality
  • Implement, communicate and practice our drug and alcohol policy in the daily work and all other relevant settings
  • Increase employee’s presence at work through good management and follow-up all absence according to relevant procedures.
  • Perform appraisals, minimum annually
  • Instruct overtime when necessary
  • Hold regular meetings with the employees to ensure two-ways communication and information, hereunder an annual teambuilding seminar.
