The successful candidate will be part of Supply Chain Management’s dynamic team of Operational Purchasers supporting offshore operations.  
 
Key responsibilities:  
– Perform purchases according to approved requisitions   
– Manage change orders and follow up pending deliveries   
– Ensure effective expediting and tracking of goods and shipments   
– Monitor and verify cost related to purchase orders   
– Facilitate payment of invoices  
– Contribute to the development of supplier relations   
 
Knowledge, Skills & Qualification requirements:  
– Preferably ongoing or completed Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Engineering, Business, Economics or equivalent   
– Strong customer service orientation   
– Ability to manage multiple interfaces and meet internal customer needs   
– Ability to develop and maintain internal customer and supplier relationships   
– Ability to work systematically and efficiently.   
– Good knowledge of IT tools and systems   
– Good Norwegian and English skills, both written and oral 
– Ability to work independently and in teams  
– Positive attitude and service minded  
– Proactive, with “can do it” attitude to overcome challenges  
– Effective communication and interpersonal relation skills
