In early 2023, Odfjell Oceanwind applied for Utsira Nord concessions in Norway and unveiled the Deepsea Star™ floater design for the UtsiraVIND and GoliatVIND projects. By summer, Kansai Electric Power Company and INGKA Investments joined the UtsiraVIND consortium, followed by Mitsui O.S.K. Lines, Ltd., becoming a strategic shareholder in October.
