More good news! DNV has completed an independent verification review of Odfjell Oceanwind’s WindGrid hybrid.
The conclusion is that the WindGrid will allow a complete shutdown of gas turbine generators on oil and gas installations in peak-wind power production periods, thus reducing emissions up to 70% compared to conventional power generation from fossil fuels.
